SUMMER OUTREACH PROGRAM IN MATHEMATICS 2017

The Summer Outreach Program in Mathematics (SOPM 2017) will provide training to students who are in Masters program, in different branches of Mathematics. This program is intended to the students having less exposure to Mathematics

Duration: June 19- July 1, 2017

Eligibility:
Students in their Masters program in Mathematics.

Courses: Algebra, Analysis, Topology/Geometry.

Speakers:

Algebra: Dr. Binod Kumar Sahoo, Dr. Kamal Lochan Patra, Dr. Brundaban Sahu

Analysis: Dr. Sanjay Parui, Dr. Sutanu Roy, Dr. Manas R. Sahoo

Topology/Geometry: Dr. Amit Tripathy

Special lectures:
Few special lectures will be given by eminent mathematicians.

Financial Support
All participants will be reimbursed sleeper class train fare via the shortest route from their place of stay. The institute will take care of local hospitality.

• Send self attested copies of mark sheets BSc onward.
• Enclose the sealed letter of recommendation with signature of the referee on the envelope. The copy of the recommendation letter is available here.
